The night the ship traveled between the ports of Takoradi and Tema in Ghana, Unreasonable Mentor Kathy Rogers coordinated a drum circle on Deck 7.
The new Hub Accra officially launched with the arrival and hosting of the Unreasonables.
The space is designed to facilitate and foster the startup community in Accra and is organized by the Open University of West Africa.
While there, the Unreasonable founders met with locals in order to explore ways the potential Ghana holds for their businesses.

What Happened Over the Course of the Week

In Ghana our vessel ported in two locations – first in the port town of Takoradi in the western portion of the country and two days later in Tema, outside the capital city of Accra. While it was one of the least developed nations we visited on our voyage, Ghana proved to be ripe with opportunities; Ghana’s market has big potential for many of our founders’ products. Further, the newly launched Hub Accra welcomed us for their opening event, the first official unveiling of the new space coordinated by the Open University of West Africa.
