Guru-G Team Cranking – [ half way between Mexico and Hawaii ]
The team at Guru-G is working through a new branding strategy to ensure their disruptive platform will get into the hands of teachers around the world. To date, they are in 3,000 schools but their hope is to change that to 300,000 schools.
First Day of Class – [ About 1,000 Miles West of Mexico ]
Today was our first day of class. George Kembel (co-founder of Stanford’s d.school) and Daniel Epstein (founder of the Unreasonable Institute) have teamed up to teach a class with roughly 200 students on design thinking and entrepreneurship in to solve our greatest challenges.

What Happened Over the Course of the Week
In the first week of the program we brought together the community, set the tone for the voyage, touched land in Mexico, and sailed nearly 4,000 nautical kilometers towards the shore line of Hawaii’s beautiful islands.
