Today, the company works with over 2,500 farmers and a network of over 600 women retailers <em>(who earn $150+ a month from retailing Eco-Fuel\u2019s briquettes).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Girls in East Africa spend upwards of five hours a day gathering fire wood for cooking fuel. Eco-Fuel\u2019s briquettes eliminate this need and ensure girls don\u2019t skip school to gather wood. Furthermore, Eco-Fuel economically empowers marginalized mothers by turning them into micro-entrepreneurs.
