They came to see <a href=\"https:\/\/wary-sunlight.flywheelsites.com\/category\/program\/institute\/2011_institute\/\" target=\"_blank\">27 ventures<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0present their solutions to some of the world\u2019s greatest challenges.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>A former child soldier himself \u2013Morris Matadi, Founder and Executive Director of Initiative for the Development of Former Child Soldiers (IDEFOCS) that rehabilitates former child soldiers in Liberia and West Africa through connecting them with opportunities for holistic reintegration into society.<\/p>\n<p>The Initiative for the Development of Former Child Soldiers (IDEFOCS),is a grass-root civil society organization founded by former child soldiers dedicated to the prevention of the use of children in war;and to the re-recruitment of Former child soldiers(FCS) in conflicts around Africa.Through trauma counseling,agriculture programs,advocacy for scholarships(vocational\/academic)for both boys and girls who had been used in war,we achieved our goals.
