Esoko is a technology company powering Africa’s digital revolution. They develop simple and powerful mobile tools to empower organizations seeking to provide critical services to the last mile. Esoko’s mission is to increase incomes for Africa’s rural populations through digital and financial inclusion. Initially delivering market prices via SMS, they now provide weather alerts, crop advice, and connections to customers, via smartphones and tablets, improving incomes for farmers by roughly 10 percent. This technology has become the backbone of many large-scale social protection programs. Organizations across Africa now use Esoko’s Digital Farmer Services, and in 2018, the company won four awards including the Chamber of Agribusiness Award for Outstanding Innovation in Agribusiness Technology.

  • Reached over 1.6Millon farmers across 20 countries in Africa.
  • Provided digital footprints to over 8.7M rural folks in Ghana and Liberia, many of whom ca now access government cash transfers.
