Christen Lien’s Bio

Classically trained violist Christen Lien performs original compositions on viola, bass guitar and harmonica that are a beautiful mixture of musical traditions and innovative acoustic and electronic sounds. Lien incorporates the use of guitar effect processors and looping pedals with her instruments, creating hybrid, melodic music and haunting, evocative performance art.
