Lynn Taliento helps private foundations, corporations, development agencies, and public-private partnerships tackle the world’s most challenging problems, by making significant improvements in their strategies, organization, and operations. She was most recently the Chief Program Officer for the Obama Foundation, where she is designing and building Foundation programs to empower, train, and connect the next generation of citizen leaders around the world. Previously as a partner at McKinsey and Company, Lynn co-founded the firm’s first group dedicated to working on social sector issues, and led McKinsey’s Global Philanthropy Practice. She helped leading foundations, corporations, nonprofits and development agencies design innovative approaches to addressing social issues, and worked with many high net worth individuals to create foundations and bold initiatives. Lynn led McKinsey’s research on effective prize design, women in development, and corporate citizenship. She holds degrees from Yale University and Harvard Kennedy School and serves as Chair of the Board for water.org and board member of The Malala Fund. She resides in Washington D.C. with her husband Michael and two children, Amelia and Noah.
