UNESCO states that 38 percent of African adults are illiterate, making it the only continent where more than half the parents are unable to help their children with homework. Eneza's mission is to make 50 million youth across rural Africa smarter by providing universal access to affordable, quality and lifelong learning through mobile technology. Today, they are the fastest growing mobile education application in Africa, aligning their educational content to the local context. As a social enterprise, they reinvest their resources to educate low-income earners at scale, 70 percent of them living in rural areas. Through a dedicated team of experienced teachers, Eneza makes affordable education available to those who have limited access to it. To date, there are over 4,000,000 learners taking mobile courses through Eneza.
