String Bio provides carbon negative ingredients for humans and animals using their patented solution, the String Integrated Methane Platform (SIMP), which utilizes methane as a feedstock to produce high-value products for various industries, including feed, cosmetics, textiles, and agriculture. Their approach aims to meet growing consumer demands while enabling sustainable food systems that are climate resilient. String was founded in Silicon Valley but moved operations to Bangalore in 2014 to be closer to the population growth and markets it could best serve.
