Ampaire is an aerospace company developing hybrid-electric aircraft to transform regional aviation. Based in Long Beach, California, it retrofits existing passenger aircraft with hybrid propulsion to cut fuel burn, emissions, noise, and operating costs. Its flagship Eco Caravan, a nine-seat retrofit of the Cessna Grand Caravan, recharges its battery in flight, so operators need no charging infrastructure. Ampaire has completed over 38,000 miles of flight testing.
