TIPA was founded in 2010 to address the global plastic waste challenge. TIPA’s revolutionary biodegradable packaging solutions are fully compostable, including laminates and labels. Their products are based on deep technological innovation and multiple patents to make the vision of bio-plastics work in the world of flexible packaging. These unique packaging solutions degrade biologically in up to 180 days in industrial compost – compared to regular common plastic packages that degrade in dozens of years. TIPA's 100 percent biodegradable films incorporate high flexibility and durability, high resistance to oxygen and water vapor permeation and transparency. TIPA’s vision is for flexible packaging to have the same end-of-life as organic matter: returning back to nature. TIPA’s packaging is just as transparent, durable and impermeable as conventional plastic packaging, and seamlessly works in any packaging manufacturing line. After using TIPA’s packaging, consumers can dispose of them just like they dispose of food – into the food waste stream, or into their home compost bin – making a plastic-free world a reality.
Creating viable, fully compostable flexible packaging solutions to help nurture the soil for a plastic-free world.
