Opportunity Collaboration is a four-day strategic and problem solving retreat for nonprofit leaders, for-profit entrepreneurs, funders and social investors. Break down the silos of unproductive competition and go beyond the boundaries of conventional poverty alleviation. It’s a strategic business retreat for the of the doers, not the talkers, in poverty alleviation.
Opportunity Collaboration also offers a scholarship program for exceptional social entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders engaged in poverty alleviation and economic justice. This scholarship, called the Cordes Fellowship, allows these enterprises the opportunity to participate as Delegates in the Opportunity Collaboration. The purpose of the Cordes Fellowship program is to (a) open doors, minds and networks for emerging social entrepreneurs and nonprofit executives, (b) enrich the Opportunity Collaboration with new, emerging leaders and (c) infuse the collaborative discussions with a diversity of perspectives.
