Synergy Social Ventures invests in entrepreneurial solutions to global problems.
We identify audacious individuals pioneering ways to improve the lives of underserved people and/or our environment by providing socially beneficial technologies, goods and services. They set up social ventures specifically designed to solve social problems and create positive social change including empowering women, creating jobs, educating children, feeding families, lighting homes and protecting the environment.
We believe social ventures are the ultimate synergy between traditional non-profits and for-profit businesses. Social ventures adopt business models that are focused on creating maximum social good rather than maximizing profit. Synergy supports social entrepreneurs to build stronger social ventures by providing access to the knowledge, skills, funding and networks needed to accelerate positive change and amplify success.
We currently support social ventures in Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Nepal, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
