Craif is a liquid biopsy startup working on early cancer detection—utilizing its proprietary AI-powered, urine-based microRNA assay technology.

Their flagship product, miSignal, is a commercialized multi-cancer early detection test covering 10 cancer types including pancreatic cancer, generating strong recurring revenue in Japan.

As of April 2026, it is adopted by 2,400+ medical institutions and 5,000+ pharmacies, with projected 2026 revenue of $33M and about 300% YoY growth.

In parallel, they are working on clinical trials to get regulatory approval and reimbursement for pancreatic cancer, targeting PMDA approval in 2027.

Craif is expanding their business to the US and their CEO Ryuichi Onose has relocated to San Diego. They are now working on acquiring MolDX-based CMS reimbursement for pancreatic cancer with the experienced expert team.
