Desolenator purifies water using solar power and waste heat rather than fossil fuels. Its modular systems turn seawater, brackish water and heavy-metal contaminated sources into ultra-pure water, with cooling as a by-product, in locations where conventional desalination is too costly or too complex to run. Pilot customers include Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and Silal, the ADQ-owned national food company in Abu Dhabi.
