Nuada is a developer of an ultra-energy-efficient point carbon capture system intended to reduce carbon emissions from hard-to-abate industries in order to reach global net-zero targets. The company has combined the unique characteristics of advanced materials called metal-organic frameworks with proven industrial technology to drastically lower the energy penalty related to point source carbon capture and remove the critical challenges to the mass adoption of carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS), allowing end-users in difficult-to-abate sectors like cement and steel to achieve net zero goals while reducing the effect on their bottom line.

Notable Achievements

  • Closing a $10 million Series A investment round, led by powerhouse investors BGF, Clean Growth Fund, and Barclays Sustainable Impact Capital
  • Partnership with leading cement companies Holcim, Heidelberg Materials, SCG, Buzzi Unicem, Argos Cementor, Cementos Molins and Cementir
  • Started £3m grant-funded innovative carbon capture projects with the support of Innovate UK & Department for Energy Security and Net Zero

Currently Operating in 16 Regions
