Leveraging the power of the lime cycle to remove CO2 in a cost-effective and scalable way
Origen was founded by preeminent thinkers in carbon removal and industrial technology, who believe in the power of limestone to permanently sequester CO2 and reverse the impacts of climate change. Origen has developed the first iteration of their technology and proved that their concept for limestone-based direct air capture (DAC) could be used to remove billions of tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere.
Today Origen is poised to deploy limestone-based carbon removal at scale. Over the last several years, Origen has built an industrial-scale pilot, R&D facility, and commercial partnerships with industry leaders to develop the next generation of DAC.
