Sheru is an Indian company that offers cloud energy storage services for grid operators. They are world's first company to innovate an on-demand energy storage option for electricity grids. Their platform aggregates energy storage space from idle batteries connected to the grid. These batteries can be sitting idle in battery swapping stations, electric buses, power backup batteries, solar connected batteries and more. They are already live with the likes of TATA and BSES in Delhi, India. They are working on scaling this technology throughout the country and, aggregating batteries via their battery management software.
