Developing healthcare solutions for children with disabilities using 3D scanning and printing.

For the majority of people, freedom of movement is something often taken for granted. But for 1 billion people globally with long term and acute health conditions, this isn’t the case. Andiamo is a custom medical wearables platform that combines big data, artificial intelligence, digital body analysis, and advanced manufacturing through 3D printing and scanning to give everyone the freedom of movement that the majority enjoy. Andiamo’s first focus is revolutionizing the out-dated orthotics industry. Not only does the orthotic demand exceed clinician availability, but children in need of orthotics often outgrow the orthotic made for them in the average six month wait time between fitting and receiving a final product. Andiamo leverages technology to reduce wait times down to one week, reduce pathway costs by 50 percent, and to enable a step change in clinical and quality of life metrics.
