Delivering cleaner and more efficient energy systems with unique hydrogen and fuel-cell technologies.

Arcola Energy is a leading specialist in hydrogen and fuel-cell technologies which are zero-emission, efficient, clean, and quiet. They use these technologies in zero-emission cars, vans, and buses, in addition to clean power generation for buildings, construction sites, and ports. Arcola Energy is the hub of a network of U.K. manufacturers and technology businesses, international suppliers, and leading U.K. academic expertise bringing people together to work on the challenges of clean transport and energy. Currently, Arcola Energy's work is most commercially invested in engineering partnerships aimed at developing new buses. Their single-deck hydrogen and fuel-cell buses are already operating successfully in many cities including London, and more are arriving across Europe, the U.S., China, and Japan. Now, double-decker hydrogen buses are in development. Arcola Energy is also passionate about education and the next generation of engineers, running hands-on hydrogen challenges for schools and the world's first Hydrogen Hack.
