Blue Frontier has commercialized air-conditioning systems that combine ultra-high efficiency cooling with built-in thermal storage to cut electricity use by 50–90% and flatten more than 90% of peak demand. By doing so, the company frees up existing grid generation capacity and makes it available for data centers. Blue Frontier won the 2026 AHR Expo Product of the Year Award after 2025 pilots that cut HVAC energy by around 63%.
