Pioneering a scalable general-purpose cell culture system with applications ranging from reagents and cosmetics to cell-based meat
Headquarters Tokyo, Japan
Developments in cellular agriculture is hindered by the high cost of culture media used to grow animal cells. This cost needs to come down for any industry players to use cell culture as an economically viable method of production. IntegriCulture's unique patented "CulNet System" technology solves this problem by mimicking the natural processes by which cells proliferate in an animal body, and reduces the cost of cell culture. The CulNet System cultures cells at 4~5 orders of magnitude less expensive, allowing cell-cultured products at market-competitive prices. The company collaborates with academic partners in the fields of regenerative medicine, developing a state of art methodology and technology that allows for vascularization and whole tissue culture.
