JEPLAN envisions a world in which we circulate everything, meaning all used or unwanted personal belongings are collected, the materials are recycled, and new products are released and sold. They possess a chemical recycling technology for polyethylene terephthalate (PET), a general-purpose plastic. The process allows additives and colorants to be separated to regenerate high-purity BHET monomer, which can be easily re-used in existing processes. Jeplan's process has already been approved and widely accepted in the market by major companies in the food packaging and cosmetics industries.
