Preserve seeks to catalyze change in how society uses earth’s resources. Creating products and closed loop recycling systems since 1996, Preserve aims to influence behavior to support a shift towards more sustainable societies. Preserve creates products with a smaller footprint, all here in the US and primarily by recycling polypropylene packages into new products. Preserve uses sustainable design strategies, like sourcing recycled materials and designing for recyclability. Preserve uses tools such as Life Cycle Assessment to assess the environmental impacts of products and services. All of their initiatives seek to reduce the impact that consumer products and human consumption have on the earth through reusing and recycling our resources and designing recycling systems that reduce the pollution plastics cause to our lands, waterways, and oceans.
