There are over 100,000 commercially available chemicals, but little is known about the effects many of those chemicals have on people. Vitargent is a biotechnology company that is pioneering the field of safety testing technology to make animal testing a thing of the past. By using medaka and zebrafish embryos to perform toxicity tests, Vitargent's solution is more comprehensive than chemical testing and more ethical than animal testing. They test at checkpoints along the supply chain, ensuring quality control at every stage of the production process. Clients include global cosmetics and skincare companies, food and beverage conglomerates, leading testing laboratories, and governments. Vitargent is the only ISO17025 accredited laboratory in Asia that provides fish embryo-based toxicity testing.
