We induct entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors into our private global community by running invitation-only boutique gatherings in remote locations around the world. If you are reading this letter, it is because our team — or someone we trust deeply — believes you are driven by values that resonate with our own.

Throughout this event, you will meet with ~12 growth-stage ventures that have been handpicked for their promise of addressing key environmental and societal issues while creating the jobs of tomorrow.

As a guest, you will have the chance to be immersed amongst this portfolio of scalable and impactful businesses while experiencing the uniqueness of an Unreasonable-run program. You will join alongside select leaders from top-tier venture funds, sovereign wealth funds, private equity institutions, corporate venture capital funds, foundations, and family offices to meet with our select entrepreneurs in an intimate and connected setting.

Our Exclusive Forum programming will be running over 1.5 days. Should you choose to join, we will be providing you an overnight stay at Batu Batu, free of charge.

Aside from the programming, our gathering will include lunch (both days), an evening drinks reception and seated dinner, as well as breakfast the next day and optional yoga in the morning, giving you additional time beyond the program to connect with the entrepreneurs and other guests.

What are the costs?

There is no cost for attendance.

How do I get to Batu Batu?

The island is accessible via Batu Batu's private speedboat departing from Mersing, Johor, Malaysia, which is approximately a 2.5 - 3.5 hour drive from Singapore. In favorable weather conditions, the speedboat journey from Mersing to Pulau Tengah takes about twenty minutes, though it can last up to forty minutes.

We will be providing ground transportation from a pick-up point in Central Singapore to Mersing to ensure your journey is comfortable and seamless. A logistics email will be sent closer to your program participation date with final details and timing. You can expect to arrive at Mersing at 11:15 AM to allow enough time for the boat to depart at 12:00 PM. Departure from Batu Batu will be on the 30th of May after 14:00.

Are food and drink provided?

Light snacks will be provided throughout the day. Lunch on both days, a private drinks reception and seated dinner, as well as breakfast the next day, are included as part of the event. All will be prepared by our in-house chef dream team.

The cohort of participating growth stage ventures are for-profit businesses based in Asia Pacific with solutions to key environmental and social challenges, aiming to reduce environmental risks, ecological scarcities, and promote sustainable development. The ventures have each been hand picked by our Portfolio Selection Team based on their impact, scalability, tech viability and team.
