Jane has spent 20 years building and engaging online communities around the world. Today, she is Founder of The Community Factor, an agency that helps companies and organizations create extraordinary communities and movements. She is the organizer of Community Hacks, and leads The Community Alliance, a global group of thought leaders and innovators who are driving fundamental change in business practice to include community participation.
Previously, Jane headed up European Marketing & Community building for Mozilla, then went on to build and lead the Global User Engagement group for Firefox, creating a 20 million strong Firefox user community base.
She has been an Entrepreneur in Residence at Astia, and lead several eBay business units. A serial entrepreneur, she also owned a contemporary art gallery in Berlin.
