Abbie wears a number of different hats in the social impact space. She engages in early-stage philanthropic investments as co-founder of Synergy Social Ventures, supports a community of nextgen funders and social changemakers and advocates for regenerative models of development through her role as Asia Regional Director of NEXUS and helps philanthropists with their giving as Director of Philanthropy Advisory of Asia Community Foundation. She is also on the Board of MakerBay Foundation, a social and environmentally focused makerspace and innovation center in Hong Kong. Abbie's prior experience in humanitarian assistance and international development in Asia provides her with the relevant background to understand the pressing needs, challenges and opportunities in the region.
