the national agenda for these sectors.
In January 2017 Alex was appointed as Head of SRP Execution for both CB & BB (in addition to his
responsibilities of running ESHLA), and drove the successful execution of this vast project.
In April 2018 Alex was appointed to Head of London and Industries responsible for both Large Corporate
and Mid Corporate in London, and national responsibility for delivering industry specialism.
Prior to joining Barclays, Alex headed the Media & Entertainment division within the Investment Banking
arm of RBS, growing an embryonic business into the largest provider of capital globally.
