Alexander is an Unreasonable Mentor. Alexander was part of Unreasonable Impact Asia Pacific 2018, and has advised over 14 Unreasonable companies.
Alexander is responsible for driving the Corporate Banking franchise in the region, as well as expanding and strengthening client relationships. Alexander was appointed to this position in March 2015.
Alexander joined Barclays in 1998, leading the coverage team for the UK Chemical and Pharmaceutical industry whilst supporting the expansion of the UK TMT sector focus. In 2006, he moved to lead the UK Leveraged Finance deal team where he focused on the UK corporate and financial sponsor markets. In 2010, Alexander was appointed Head of the London Debt Finance team and, subsequently, joined the International Debt Finance management team. In 2011, he relocated to Dubai to deliver the GCC and Indian Debt Finance strategy.
In 2012, Alexander’s role expanded to Head International Debt Finance for non-UK debt origination covering Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India.
