Alicia is a publishing manager with over fifteen years’ experience in the education sector. In her current role as a Portfolio Manager at Pearson Australia, Alicia is responsible for recommending and delivering the product pipeline across the areas of Literacy, English and Intervention for K-12. She leads a team of Product Owners and Developers and makes key decisions about the creation or expansion of products and services, ensuring a consistent and clear line of sight to the customer.
Alicia is passionate about developing products and solutions to improve student learning outcomes and uses deep customer insight and discipline knowledge to drive growth. She has extensive experience in managing complex projects and programs and is skilled at partnering with others to achieve common goals.
Before joining Pearson, Alicia spent a number of years working at the Department of Education in Victoria providing policy advice and overseeing a range of projects and programs in the areas of student learning, assessment, intervention and wellbeing. She began her career as a primary school teacher.
