Amy has over 20 years of experience in higher education, specializing in online course development, student retention, and higher education operations. She currently oversees Pearson Online Learning Services Academic Strategy team, a group that engages with current and prospective academic partners to design successful online programs and curricula and develop customized evidence-based recommendations for online and hybrid education. Prior to this role, she led the Course Development function in which she worked with universities to share approaches, technologies, and best practices that support student engagement, learning, and the creation of learning communities in online programs. She has master's degrees in education and public history, and she is currently completing her dissertation for a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Educational Technology at Michigan State University. Her research focuses on the effects of synchrony in cooperative learning in post-secondary and adult education.
