Andrew is an Unreasonable Mentor.
Andrew is the Chief Development Officer at U.S. International Development Finance Corporation. He was the Coordinator of the U.S. Government’s (USG) Power Africa program, the world’s largest partnership for development. He served as Mission Director and a Legal Advisor for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Latin America and the Caribbean. Herscowitz was a lawyer for USAID’s lending programs and supported the USAID legal team that designed the framework for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. He attended Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and Law Center. He spent a year as a volunteer in Nicaragua and worked at law firms in Washington, D.C. In 2018, Herscowitz was awarded the “Service to Americas” medal, given to officials who have provided great benefit to the American people. He was recognized as one of the USG's most outstanding lawyers. He is a “Global Commissioner for Ending Energy Poverty” and serves on World Economic Forum Global Future Councils.
