Anish Malpani

Anish Malpani is the founder of Without, an enterprise reimagining waste and poverty. Without ethically transforms the world's most stubborn, impossible-to-recycle waste, from multi-layered plastic to mixed textiles, into premium materials, while creating dignified livelihoods for the waste-pickers at the heart of its supply chain. Its first proof of concept, the world's first sunglasses made from used chip packets, went viral and has since featured on Shark Tank India, Euronews and History TV. Before Without, Anish spent over 12 years in finance, operations and data across Texas, New York, Guatemala, Kenya, Dubai and India. He is a Yale Climate Fellow, an Acumen Fellow and a Global Good Fund Fellow, and holds a finance degree from the McCombs School of Business at UT-Austin.
