Badri is a Partner at Omidyar Network India, an impact investing firm set-up by Pierre Omidyar, founder of eBay. Since 2010, he has been investing in mission-driven technology start-ups in India in sectors such as Financial Inclusion, Education, Digital Health, SMETech, E-Commerce and Local Content. He has served on the Boards of Dailyhunt, 1mg, Vistaar Finance, Indifi Technologies, Aspiring Minds (Sold to SHL), Doubtnut etc.
Prior to this, Badri was a Vice President at Xander India Advisors, a leading real estate private equity firm in India, and a Manager at EXL Service, a NASDAQ-listed operations management and analytics outsourcing firm, specialising in banking and insurance risk management verticals. Badri began his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in India in their Assurance and Business Advisory Services division.
Badri has an MBA from the Indian School of Business (Hyderabad) and is a Chartered Accountant. He is passionate about technology, impact, sports and lives with his family in Singapore.
