In her role Carolina is responsible for leading New Business & Innovation as a new capability to explore, design, innovate and deploy new viable businesses, business models, services and innovative solutions for Ingka.

Carolina is Industrial Engineer with an MBA by IESE Business School and has been working at IKEA for last 18 years. Her journey started in IKEA Bilbao Store in Spain then moving to Sweden to work in the Global Sales Function. She returned to Spain as Store Manager in IKEA Malaga and opening of IKEA Valencia store and then Deputy Retail Manager for CZ/HU/SK region and IKEA Japan. 

After leading IKEA Poland as Country Retail Manager and Chief Sustainability Officer she joined Group Digital as Digitalisation Manager to then start the global assignment as Head of New Business and Innovation.
