Expert on impact driven business models and ecoystems
Claudia is an Unreasonable Mentor.
Claudia Knobloch is an experienced expert in the field of enterprise solutions for development and entrepreneurship. Within the last 22 years, she has led and managed more than 160 projects for international large companies (Covestro, E.ON, Allianz), social enterprises (HERi Madagascar, JUMEME), multi- and bilateral donors (e.g. BMZ/GIZ, UNDP) and development finance institutions (World Bank). She has worked in India, Bangladesh, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria and Madagascar, to name just a few.
Being an entrepreneur herself, Claudia knows the challenges of founding and scaling a business very well. Her first company, an internet information portal on international trade, failed after five years. This failure taught her a lot about how to create and run companies successfully. Since 2005, Claudia supports entrepreneurs and companies in shaping their impact driven business models. In addition to that, she runs a co-working space and an audio-studio in Berlin, Germany.
Claudia holds an MA in International Business and Cultural Studies and is trained in design thinking methodologies and systems thinking practices. She is fluent in German (native) and English and speaks some Spanish.
