I am a globally experienced business development executive with 20+ years of experience building new markets, driving revenue growth and improving competitive market positions in the media, information, communications and entertainment industries. The bulk of my experience has been acquired and deployed in the United States, United Kingdom and across the African continent where I have predominantly worked in South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya. I have been successful in start-up, turnaround and high-growth markets on behalf of companies and brands such as Warner Bros, G-Unit Records, African Fashion International, Essence (Time Inc.) and Motsepe Foundation. This depth of expertise has given me fluency across the media, entertainment, communication and information industries. My extensive relationships in and around the value chains of those sectors and more than two decades spent working across international markets has given me a unique insight into contrasts and similarities of different markets in my specialist sectors.
