Constance (Connie) Tzioumis is the Director for Partnerships in the Secretary’s Office of Global Partnerships (SGP). Connie plays a lead role in guiding and managing SGP's priority-driven partnerships across multiple sectors and regions, including women's and youth empowerment, and entrepreneurship-driven partnerships. Prior to joining the U.S. Department of State, for ten years Ms. Tzioumis led labor and human rights policy at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the U.S. Government’s development finance institution, where she oversaw policy implementation for OPIC projects in over 150 countries worldwide. Ms. Tzioumis holds a BA in Environmental Sciences and a minor in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, as well as an MSc in Environmental Assessment and Evaluation from the London School of Economics.
