Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Rodatherm Energy
Curtis Cook is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rodatherm Energy Corporation, a pioneering geothermal power developer focused on delivering infrastructure-scale, zero-emission baseload power near demand centers and urban environments. Through its proprietary Waterless Geothermal Systems™ (WGS™) technology, Rodatherm is advancing a new generation of scalable, dispatchable energy projects designed for superior efficiency, long-duration performance, low operating costs, and strong project economics.
Under Curtis's leadership, Rodatherm has secured more than 2 GW of geothermal development potential across Utah and Idaho, strategically located alongside existing infrastructure to support the creation of financially efficient, integrated energy hubs that align with industrial growth, grid reliability, and local community development. The company recently entered into a flagship Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with an advanced manufacturing consortium to develop a phased 200 MW geothermal power project near Brigham City, Utah.
Curtis brings more than 30 years of diverse energy industry experience, having founded and successfully led three energy companies. Under his leadership, Vesta Energy Corporation drilled the first commercial shale oil well in Canada's East Shale Duvernay Basin and grew it into a multi-billion-dollar energy enterprise while helping establish a major regional industry. Each of Curtis's ventures generated strong returns on invested capital, reflecting a consistent track record of value creation, innovation, and strategic execution.
Combining deep technical expertise with proven entrepreneurial leadership, Curtis has built a reputation for identifying and developing transformative energy opportunities.
