Daniel is an Unreasonable Fellow. Daniel was part of Unreasonable FUTURE 2019.
Daniel is an agricultural economist, technologist, geo-information scientist and entrepreneur. Passionate about bridging the gap between the realities of people living in rural communities and technological innovations and has been a chief advocate for the digitization of African rural economies. Daniel leads ESOKO, one of Africa’s largest Agritech providers to navigate through a maze of digital products and developed several innovations for the African agricultural sector. As a serial entrepreneur, he has founded two other agribusinesses. A fellow of the United Nations UniversityUnreasonable Group, and a recipient of 2020 Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship. He has a doctorate degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Bonn, Germany, a double master’s degree in Geo-information Science from the University of Twente, The Netherlands, and a first-class bachelors in Agricultural Economics.
