Danielle is an Unreasonable Mentor.
Danielle Vitoff is a strategic advisor helping organizations navigate the complex intersection of energy, infrastructure, policy, and economic development. As a Director in AECOM's Advisory practice, she works with utilities, technology companies, public agencies, developers, and investors to solve some of the most pressing challenges facing the energy transition.
Over the course of her career, Danielle has advised clients on utility strategy, regulatory engagement, grid modernization, clean energy programs, large-load development, and emerging energy markets. Her work focuses on helping organizations move from innovative ideas to real-world implementation by navigating the technical, regulatory, financial, and stakeholder complexities that often determine success.
Danielle is particularly passionate about the opportunities and challenges created by rapid load growth, data centers, electrification, and the evolving relationship between energy infrastructure and economic development. She brings a systems-level perspective to problem-solving, helping founders and leaders understand how decisions are made across utilities, regulators, governments, and private-sector stakeholders.
As a mentor, Danielle helps entrepreneurs develop practical strategies for scaling in highly regulated markets, building partnerships, engaging key stakeholders, and translating ambitious visions into actionable pathways for growth and impact.
She believes that the most transformative innovations succeed when great technology is paired with a deep understanding of the institutions, markets, and people needed to bring change to scale.
