Dave is an Unreasonable Fellow. Dave was part of Unreasonable GOALS 2018.
Dave has nearly 20 years of experience developing and implementing innovative technology solutions for the benefit of humanity. His company, Hala Systems, used AI to create an early warning system for airstrikes in Syria that saved thousands of lives. Hala also uses proprietary AI/ML, fine tuned on its unique data set, to collect and process evidence of war crimes in Ukraine in real time. Previously, Dave founded Refugee Open Ware, which spearheaded innovative 3D printing of prosthetics for dismembered Syrian and Yemeni children, together with Doctors Without Borders. He spent a year with LeapFrog Investments, first working on a potential investment in the Philippines and then helping the Founder craft the successful strategy for a $400 million raise. He was a Strategy Fellow and Engagement Manager at McKinsey in the Social Sector Office, and a Fulbright Scholar in India. Dave holds an MBA from Wharton, an M.Phil. in the philosophy of human rights from Cambridge University, and a BA/BS in international studies and economics from the Huntsman Program at Wharton/UPenn.
