I grew up in the UK but attended the first ever computer camp in SoCal in the 70's and became obsessed with computing and artificial intelligence. I studied linguistic anthropology at Brown University and began a career in journalism and film production in Japan in the early 90's. I spent the next thirty years in film production, story development, licensing, merchandising & product placement for the Bond franchise. I was involved in the development and launch of many products and services, fostering a love of entrepreneurship. I advise our FO in alternative investments. I am an angel investor in early stage, tech start-ups. I invest primarily in collaborative economies (esp, mass collaboration) and in civil security (e.g. preventing the breakdown of civll society).
