David is an Unreasonable Fellow. David was part of Unreasonable Impact Americas 2019.
David Jankowsky is the Founder and President of Francis Energy, which builds and operates state-by-state networks of electric vehicle direct-current fast charging (DCFC) stations every 50 miles to ensure no community is left behind. Based in Tulsa, Jankowsky led the company to build Oklahoma’s first most accessible network of public fast charging stations and is currently overseeing its aggressive expansion into 14 additional states.
 
Prior to founding Francis Energy, David was Vice President of International Business Development for SunEdison, Inc. from 2010 to 2015. There, David was responsible for all aspects of corporate development in the Asia-Pacific and Sub-Saharan Africa regions.
 
Before SunEdison, David was an energy project finance attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP in Washington, DC, where he closed over $5B of international and domestic project finance transactions in the renewable energy, liquefied natural gas, and conventional power markets.
 
David has an undergraduate degree from Middlebury College in Vermont, where he graduated with honors, and a juris doctorate degree from the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., where he served on the Georgetown Law Review.
