David Myers

David is an Unreasonable Mentor. David was part of Unreasonable Impact UK 2017, and has advised over 11 Unreasonable companies.
David is a Partner in Deloitte’s UK Financial Services practice, where he leads the firm’s Banking & Capital Markets business. With more than 25 years of global experience, he has been involved with helping financial institutions with various business and technology challenges ranging from strategy definition and execution through to large change programme implementation. In particular, David has been involved in a number of new enterprises launched by individual firms through to those set up as consortium joint ventures. He has also lead Deloitte’s efforts to invest in and take to market key fintech start-ups, such as SETL.io.
During his career, his clients have included: ABN AMRO, The American Stock Exchange, Barclays, CLS, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Börse AG, DTCC, Euronext, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, The London Stock Exchange Group, MICEX, Mizuho, Morgan Stanley, NYSE, NASDAQ, Six Group AG, and UBS.
David started his career with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). He left in the late 1990s in order to help launch a new consulting cum technology solutions company, Capco. As a Partner, David helped grow the company to over 600 people and USD100 million globally. Upon the sale of Capco in 2006, he joined Deloitte.
David holds a BE in electric engineering from Thayer School of Engineering (Dartmouth College) and a BA liberal arts - engineering sciences, also from Dartmouth.  He was a board member of the Futures and Options Association (now FIA Europe) from 2008-2012.
