Dean is an Unreasonable Mentor.
Dean Marris began his career in New Zealand with Exxon Mobil before striking out on his own at 25. Over the following decades he founded and scaled three successful technology companies, each through to exit — including Coretex, whose acquisition by EROAD remains the largest technology sale in New Zealand's history. Dean studied AI and data science at Harvard, where he is now an Executive Fellow at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science, mentoring early-stage founders. He currently runs two startups, including SEEO, an AI workplace-safety platform, and holds investments across a portfolio of emerging companies. Based in Denver, Colorado, Dean works with founders on strategy, capital raising, sales operations, and building edge-AI products.
