Deborah Goldfarb is a Managing Director and Global Head of Citizenship for Barclays International, leading the Citizenship portfolio to ensure clear linkage with business strategy and maximizing the shared societal and business impact of the agenda. She recognizes the power of collaboration and partnership, bringing together partners across the public, private and non-profit sectors to achieve shared ambitions.
She joined Barclays in September 2008 from Lehman Brothers, where she started her professional career as a credit strategist in the Fixed Income Research department; her team was awarded a #2 ranking from Institutional Investor. Ms. Goldfarb also has first-hand experience in the non-profit sector having managed operations for the Beginning with Children Foundation and undertaken a Summer Fellowship at the Tiger Foundation.
Ms. Goldfarb graduated with a BS in Mathematics from Duke University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She was a Term Member of the Council of Foreign Relations and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Beginning with Children.
