Ela currently works as Environmental Finance - Business Development SVP at Bank of America, responsible for supporting existing environmental business efforts as well as developing new opportunities for the bank to expand its environmental business offerings. She works with BofA's lines of businesses to help incubate new environmental product and service ideas and provide sales and strategic planning support to all our environmental business efforts. Ela has worked at Bank of America since 2006 in both retail and commercial banking. In her past role in GCB, Ela managed Sales Performance and Operations discipline for Specialized Industries, which included healthcare, higher education, not for profits, dealer financial services and restaurant and sports finance banking teams. She lead annual business and portfolio planning, sales initiatives and training and client coverage strategy for the business. Prior, Ela worked at GE Healthcare in various commercial leadership roles, she is Six Sigma Black Belt certified. In addition to her paid work, she is the VP for Bridge to Turkiye Fund, an education focused non-profit organization serving underprivileged children. Ela has MSc. degree from Purdue University, and is a graduate of Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, Turkey where she received her BSc. in Management.
