Gaia is a social entrepreneur with a deep respect for science and a bias toward action. In 2010, she co-founded the industrial AR market pioneer DAQRI, and as a member of the executive team and along with her co-founder took the company from 2 people in a garage to 6 international offices and 300 employees. Over the course of 7 years, Gaia managed functions including marketing and PR, international expansion, government relations, and finally operational excellence. Recently, she has developed a deep network in the field of AI safety and ethics, forming relationships with the top AI labs, non-profits, and think tanks in the world and convening some of the top minds in the field to collaborate on the planning process for deployment, alignment and AI destinations.
